Memorial Day Weekend 2016

Yet another weekend spent packing and moving...but it all went pretty smooth! We had the best movers ever - Johnny and Ian saved our life. They're obsessive and super anal and our storage unit looks cleaner and more organized than our house ever did. Got everything squared away this afternoon, Noah left for SD for a couple of days and the kids and I are settled into a hotel. We board the plane to Amsterdam on Sunday! We spent the afternoon at the pool and the kids couldn't be more excited about the hotel breakfast tomorrow morning. My sweet girl cruising at the park. A random four year old was the lucky recipient of this bike that day. Noah and I were seriously so creepy the past week following parents around asking if they wanted our stuff. Feels good to purge. Finn wrote me a letter last weekend. Love that kid. Emmett acting like a two year old. Definitely seeing some of his naughty side come out. He loves saying "doodybutt", "poo poo butt" a...

Tellerpalooza and one of our last weekends in Denver!

We had a fun and jam packed weekend. Thursday was the end of the year party at Sophia and Emmett's school, which was a circus theme. They had dinner and all kinds of carnival games for the kids. After that we went to the school dance at Teller which was pretty awesome - the older kids were all decked out in suits and dresses. Of course Finn wore shorts and a t-shirt and was more interested in the pizza than anything else. Friday night we went to Lego movie and a festival at our friend's neighborhood school, and Saturday night was Tellerpalooza! It's such a fun event at the Bluebird. The Teller kids performed first, then a bunch of local bands. It was way loud and all three totally loved it. Such a great way to end the school year and see a lot of the friends we've made before we head out. We really did get lucky being a part of such a great school community, even just for a short time. Friday night fun. Bounceys, frozen yogurt truck, friends and Lego movie. E...

A visit from the Lawrence fam!

We had an awesome weekend with Jen, Emmy and Ryan. The kids picked up right where they left off and it was good for the souls to all be back together again. Hard to believe Emmy and Finn have been friends since they were newborns. We had pizza, hit up the Children's Museum, visited Red Rocks, ate at Vine Street Pub, spent lots of time playing in the backyard and rounded off the visit with Voo Doo Donuts this morning. Thanks so much for coming to visit us!! xoxo Picnic dinner in the backyard on Friday night. Joy Park  Of course E wanted to ride the zip line. How many kids can fit on the ski lift?! Obligatory pic at Red Rocks! Love taking all my visitors there. We did it! We made a countdown chain until we get on that plane to Amsterdam. 21 days holy shit!  I found this note when I was cleaning up Finn's room today. It was on top of Finn's wallet. Made me laugh out loud. These two stinkers.

Mother's Day weekend

Mother's Day started like this so really what more do you need? My love for coffee is at an all-time high right now. I can't even imagine what's going to happen after 3 months in Europe. Speaking of...holy crap I can't believe we are about to pack it up and move to Europe for three months. We started really packing - and purging - this weekend. The passports for the kids arrived which was a huge relief because of course I had some crazy thoughts that we'd put everything in place and then wouldn't get them. The kids seem really excited about going. As long as we got each other, right?
