Sophia is officially a Daisy Scout. This REALLY makes me feel like a parent! Her kinder class had a dance performance a couple of weeks ago. Lots of running around and jumping but she's got some rhythm! Ann Barton has made all of our kids, including Jackson, these amazing handmade quilts. She's been working on Emmett's for a long time and he got it last week. It's beautiful and he loves snuggling in it.  October birthdays right here! We took cupcakes to Soph's class last Friday. She sure loved being the star for the day.  Present time! Highlights this year included a bluetooth microphone, Moana costume, new flower headbands and lots of cute clothes! Strike a pose sister, you are SIX!  Vons came through big time with this beauty! Family math day in Finn's class last week. I loved spending 1-on-1 time with him and being in his classroom.  Soph had a nail salon party at our house to celebrate 6. She had 6 girls over, paint...

October is here

It's officially October but it was 85 degrees yesterday! I love fall here, no tourists, great beach days and tired kids :) Here's a bunch of pics from the last few weeks... Sophia has been getting to know lots of new girls in her class since most of her TK crew got split up amongst the 4 kinder classes. We ran into Ada's family last weekend at Windansea. And had Joscelynn over for a tea party. Finn was at tennis (and wouldn't have wanted any part anyways), but the girls were so sweet with Emmett.  Sophia started Daisy Scouts. Their first activity was a dance class. They did 30 minutes of practice and then performed for the parents to earn their Dance badge. Finn has a worksheet or two of homework each night now, and Sophia is supposed to write in her kinder journal each day. She LOVES having homework. Emmett likes to join in too.  Writing about her day.
