I can't believe it's August! We had another week of adventures around this amazing city. We're getting much braver with the weather - still raining almost daily but it's usually brief and now we are prepared when we venture out. Half the people say this summer is especially bad and the other half say "welcome to Dutch summer". Here's our week in pictures... We have the greatest neighbors - Mascha and Jonas are the parents, and their daughter Tess is 12 and babysits for us occasionally, and David who is 3 days younger than Finn. Tess speaks a bit of English, David speaks none but he and Finn have bonded over tennis in the street and Pokemon Go. We went to Artis, the Amsterdam Zoo, on Tuesday. It rivals San Diego - it was amazing and full of beautiful parks and cafes. Found this sign along the way and of course my superhero lover wanted a pic.
