Amy and Aaron are officially US residents again and Amy is here to visit! Each kid gets to stay home one day with her :) So far she and Emmett have done the rec center and toy store, she and Soph had a tea party and ate lunch in a fort and Finn's day is tomorrow and he wants to go see Captain Underpants. Perfection! Sunday night dinner outside! It was a hot and beautiful weekend.  Our new post-dinner, pre-shower ritual...riding scooters through La Jolla High School. So fun.  For Father's Day we spent the afternoon at Windansea beach.  Me and Noah even got to sit on beach chairs and chill while Amy entertained.  A family picture! Finn and Soph get a few days of sleeping in, lounging, and chilling at the pool before camp starts next week! Emmett will stay at preschool all summer but they mix up the schedule and have lots of camp-like things planned to keep it fun. We had a blast yesterday... Got some fun new beachballs from my office. 10am. Jammies and pirates booty. Yessss! We went to La Jolla High and played some tennis, then checked out the field. I ran 1 lap around the track. Kids were so impressed and I almost died.  My mini-me Our FISH! We met Lola and Florence at the pool. After 2 hours I could not drag Finn out! Dinner at Florence's house last night. Emmett enjoying a piece of strawberry cake :) The kids all ate dinner at the table and Emmett had a private dining experience in that tent. Ha. Ice cream! What a fun day. 

Well that's a wrap on TK and 2nd grade! Wow I can't believe it's already over, feels like we just stepped off that plane from Amsterdam and scrambled to find somewhere to live and to make it to the second day of school! Finn and Soph both had an awesome year - a bit of a rough start but they both ended up with great teachers and making such nice friends. Today was the last day of school, and a half day, so we met Sophia's class and their families at the Shores for a beach party. It was a perfect day and so much fun! The water is actually warm. Last week we had a goodbye/thank you breakfast for Sophia's TK teacher, Miss Stephani.  These two buds - sleepover! Sophia spent like 24 hours with Florence last weekend so me and the boys went to open gym at the Y. Wrestle time! We hit up the Padres game on Sunday. It was family day so they had all kinds of games and jumpees in the park area, so fun.  My sweet pea. Impromptu happy hour last w...

This kid is seriously just the best. Most days when I pick him up from school he compliments me on something ... "mom, I really like your necklace", "mom, I like your ponytail", "mom, you look so pretty". He's got the biggest heart and is just such a lover. Just watching some hockey at Hoboken.  Dude got a new helmet. He's about 3 seconds away from lights out here! 2nd grade poster assignment on Pandas! Is it summer yet?!
