We took a pretty awesome trip to see both sets of families. It was a two week trip and the perfect way to break up the summer. Our trip in photos... Day 1 was flying to Chicago. We stayed the night at a hotel downtown before driving up to Michigan. We walked to dinner and got caught in a HUGE rainstorm. The southern California kids were freaking out with Sophia screaming "just get an Uber!!!" The moment Emmett discovered bacon dipped in syrup. Road trip! Here we go. Made it! First night at the lake. My parents, Amy, Jane, hubbies and kids all in tow this year. Emmett and Bapa! We had a couple great beach days and Molly and Sloane showed off their cutest swimsuits. They were so great at the beach. We vegged, paddle boarded, built sand creations, ran the dunes... ...and chased this monster beach ball all over the place. Girls day! We had a baby shower for cousin Katie and a sip 'n see for the twins. We hit up Michigan beach look...
