Summer is flying by and we are trying to soak up every minute. I'm halfway through my five weeks of straight travel. Next up is a girls weekend with my college besties and I can not WAIT. Shout out to my superstar hubby who has been holding down the fort.  Bowling with my team in lovely Orlando, Florida in July.  25th St Beach with the Mashhouns a couple weekends ago. We all had a blast until a rogue wave got us good. And all of our stuff. Good times.  This was Emmett about 3 minutes after getting back from the beach last weekend. Lights out.  It's been hot for SD so we have been spending lots of time at the pool.  Noah worked hard making homemade ice cream so the kids could have an ice cream stand with Lola and Elsie. They set up shop at Windansea. It was not quite as busy as we hoped but they had fun. Soph finally lost her first tooth!! I was in Florida for work but the tooth fairy came and she was SO excited. She has another one that is hanging by a thread. 

4th of July in the middle of the week is just weird. I left work early Tuesday and we played at the Tidepools. The babysitter had taken the kids earlier in the day but they wanted to go back. It was a gorgeous day and lots of little crabs running around everywhere. My and my #1. Love this kid so much and I can't believe he is turning TEN in less than two months.  4th of July was super fun. The kids decorated their scooters and we all biked/scootered down to Bird Rock for the parade. We saw tons of school friends and collected a whole bunch of candy.  Best buds, Finn and Lola. The whole gang.  My latest purchases that are making me super happy - adirondack chair and my bike!  Gearing up for fireworks! We did dinner with the Clayton and McGregor crews. BBQ, ice cream, poppers and photo props. Fireworks at LJ Country Club. We watched from the curb in jammies.  Accessorized!! Happy 4th xo

We had a momentous event last weekend - the kids first trip to...Souplantation! Lola and Elsie had been talking it up for weeks and so we finally made it happen. Friday night at the Plantation, followed by fun in the trunk... Emmett wearing Sophia's jean jacket. Oh yeah. We caught a great sunset last weekend... Photo cred: Sophia Always flossin'! Waiting for the green flash. Emmett is way into Mario Kart. He has finally figured out how to actually drive and steer. The library got a new toy last week. So fun!
