Meeting Molly + Sloane

Finn and I were lucky enough to meet Molly and Sloane last weekend! It was awesome to get so much QT time with my number one. We flew all day Thursday, then drove two hours to Jane's house. Amy was home from India, too!
Snuggling babies is seriously the best. Ever. Those tiny butts didn't touch a crib the entire weekend.

It was amazing traveling with only ONE kid! He played Nintendo, we watched Planet Earth and I read a book. Yes, a BOOK.
Look at this pro. He has been so excited about the girls since they were born. Being a twin himself I think made it a little extra special. He was so good with them.

Helping Uncle Walter with the feedings. He was into feeding them but terrified of the spit ups.

On Friday we went to Dogwood Canyon for lunch and a hike. It was chilly but we had fun.
There was an awesome treehouse (like a professional one) that was fun to explore.
 California boy in the country!
Dinner selfie!
For Finn, Scout was the highlight of the trip. This kid is dying for a dog and Scout was pretty excited to hang with Finn, too. To say they were buddies is an understatement.

Fishing with my dad and Uncle Walter...didn't catch anything but they had fun.

We got to celebrate mom and dad's bday which was super fun. Jane's friend Rachel made a delicious chocolate mousse cake which we may had eaten for breakfast a good two days in a row.

Finn and Didi working on his coin collection. He's working on getting one from every state and every national park.

Oh, hello Molly! He was so proud to be able to tell them apart - "Molly has more hair, a mohawk, and they have different color binkies". He journaled about his trip for his class and this was one of his highlights :)

That polar bear in between the girls is Glacier. Finn's had him many years and passed him along.

Meanwhile, Noah held down the fort like a champ!

What we've been up to

It's been cold and snowy! We got almost a foot of snow on Monday afternoon and the kids had a snow day on Tuesday. They got hours of TV in the morning and then Noah came home and we all went sledding. The hill by our house was absolutely packed with kids. We had so much fun. Emmett cried and cried, saying "brrrr" until I threw him on a sled with me and flew down the hill. He cried the first time, and then loved it after that. Sophia and Finn were both so brave. Noah build them a jump and they both flew over it on the sleds over and over again. Finn loves to shovel the sidewalk. Noah snowboarded a couple days over the weekend so Finn was the man of the house - shoveling so Sophia doesn't have to even walk on the snow. Ha! Sledding! I went to a fun wine tasting party with other Teller moms on Saturday night. This was the welcome to the party.  Story time! Oh Emmett.

Sophia turns 5!

Our little bunny turned FIVE last week! I can't even believe it, a whole hand. She took lollies to school for her classmates, and then we had a party at La Jolla Rec Center on Sunday. Complete with a bounce house, pizza and a cake big enough to feed at least 100 people. Seriously, the cake was ridiculous. Apparently I ordered a full sheet instead of a quarter or a half. Oooopsies. I think five is gonna be a great year for Soph. She has made lots of new friends and is so happy to go to school everyday. I'm so happy she's in TK, she is loving it. She got a new bike from us, and lots of cool art stuff from friends, and her first Barbie! She also got another Wonder Woman costume from Nay Nay, thank goodness. Cruisin' on her new ride. Now we just have to get rid of those training wheels.  The actual night of her birthday she requested pasta so we went to Filipi's in PB. Hadn't been there in at least a decade and it did not disappoint. The waitstaff sang her ...

Our trip to Croatia

Helloooo! Well, we've had a few things going on so the blog has been neglected. But I want to post pictures from our last two trips this summer - Croatia and Italy. The first week of August, we flew to Split, Croatia and stayed there for a night at an Airbnb. Split is a big city with a great downtown area full of outdoor cafes, a huge jewelry market and is a main port to a whole bunch of Croatian islands. We spent 5 amazing days in Croatia - we absolutely loved this place. Gorgeous scenery, friendly people, very touristy with people from all over the world and inexpensive.  One of the many beaches in Split...     Noah bought a sweet raft for the kids. He about passed out blowing it up. Afternoon at the beach. Me and Finnster looking for a lunch spot. Sophia became a little fish this summer. She loved all the hotel pools and lakes/oceans/seas we came across. She met a friend this day, Thea, who we played with at the beach all day and then coinciden...
