the weekend!

Another week came and went and boom Monday is here! This weekend was a good one...

These pics are from last weekend but I never posted them and love them! Emmett with his fresh buzz cut, showing me a succulent. He hiked all over the Gliderport at Torrey Pines. He really can keep up with F+S any day.

The love affair continues with these two. They're still into superheroes and any game that involves both of their wild imaginations. I did hear Emmett say to Sophia the other day, "stop bossing me around!" Haha. It's only a matter of time...

Friday night lights at La Jolla High. We cheered on the Vikings, watched the cheerleaders and hit the concession stand. Best view from a high school football game I've ever seen.

The nachos were a hit! Haha. 

Another weekend, another Soph/Flo sleepover! :)

5/6 going on 15/16 for sure! They ran into their book buddies at the game (who are both boys and a few grades older) and FREAKED out. 

Saturday involved a gymnastics party at the Y. 

Found this sweet little bench at the high school!

We walked to Windansea this morning to wear out 4 kids. It was a gorgeous morning.



Hit the farmers market and got this real subtle face paint job. Spirit the clown was not messing around today. 

Our last adventure for the weekend was a trip to Michael's for art supplies to decorate Finn's 3rd grade writing journal. Travel, tennis, movies, pizza and emojis. Sums him up right now!

Winding down with the Monopoly card game tonight. Finn got it for his bday and it's been a huge hit!

What we've been up to

It's been cold and snowy! We got almost a foot of snow on Monday afternoon and the kids had a snow day on Tuesday. They got hours of TV in the morning and then Noah came home and we all went sledding. The hill by our house was absolutely packed with kids. We had so much fun. Emmett cried and cried, saying "brrrr" until I threw him on a sled with me and flew down the hill. He cried the first time, and then loved it after that. Sophia and Finn were both so brave. Noah build them a jump and they both flew over it on the sleds over and over again. Finn loves to shovel the sidewalk. Noah snowboarded a couple days over the weekend so Finn was the man of the house - shoveling so Sophia doesn't have to even walk on the snow. Ha! Sledding! I went to a fun wine tasting party with other Teller moms on Saturday night. This was the welcome to the party.  Story time! Oh Emmett.

Sophia turns 5!

Our little bunny turned FIVE last week! I can't even believe it, a whole hand. She took lollies to school for her classmates, and then we had a party at La Jolla Rec Center on Sunday. Complete with a bounce house, pizza and a cake big enough to feed at least 100 people. Seriously, the cake was ridiculous. Apparently I ordered a full sheet instead of a quarter or a half. Oooopsies. I think five is gonna be a great year for Soph. She has made lots of new friends and is so happy to go to school everyday. I'm so happy she's in TK, she is loving it. She got a new bike from us, and lots of cool art stuff from friends, and her first Barbie! She also got another Wonder Woman costume from Nay Nay, thank goodness. Cruisin' on her new ride. Now we just have to get rid of those training wheels.  The actual night of her birthday she requested pasta so we went to Filipi's in PB. Hadn't been there in at least a decade and it did not disappoint. The waitstaff sang her ...

Our trip to Croatia

Helloooo! Well, we've had a few things going on so the blog has been neglected. But I want to post pictures from our last two trips this summer - Croatia and Italy. The first week of August, we flew to Split, Croatia and stayed there for a night at an Airbnb. Split is a big city with a great downtown area full of outdoor cafes, a huge jewelry market and is a main port to a whole bunch of Croatian islands. We spent 5 amazing days in Croatia - we absolutely loved this place. Gorgeous scenery, friendly people, very touristy with people from all over the world and inexpensive.  One of the many beaches in Split...     Noah bought a sweet raft for the kids. He about passed out blowing it up. Afternoon at the beach. Me and Finnster looking for a lunch spot. Sophia became a little fish this summer. She loved all the hotel pools and lakes/oceans/seas we came across. She met a friend this day, Thea, who we played with at the beach all day and then coinciden...
