hellllo February!

Another week gone! This is moving weekend...eek! Sitting here among boxes right now and not really feeling ready for the movers to show up Saturday AM. Oh well, we will make it happen - that's what we do :) I'm excited to be in a bigger place and have a yard again! Just kinda want to fast forward a few weeks to being settled...here's what we've been up to...
Bunny found her goggles! Hadn't seen these babies since Amsterdam. They've been pulling out all of their suitcases and finding all sorts of goodies.

Pasta night!

Like a real Italian. No cutting this pasta. Papa would be proud.

Noah and I went to see Cold War Kids with Marc and Jess last Friday. Finally hit up Waypoint Public in North Park for some drinks and dinner, and then the Observatory for the show. We had a total blast. 

Emmett had his first birthday party!! He was so excited - finally his turn. He's tagged along to so many but never been to one on his own. His girlfriend Madi was turning 3 and had her shindig at Nightingale. They had a music lesson for an hour followed by cake and then a dance party. Adorable party. 

Parachute time!

I took an awesome hour long walk (alone!) on Saturday morning. It was a gorgeous day and I walked up the bike path behind our new pad. This is the beautiful view.

What we've been up to

It's been cold and snowy! We got almost a foot of snow on Monday afternoon and the kids had a snow day on Tuesday. They got hours of TV in the morning and then Noah came home and we all went sledding. The hill by our house was absolutely packed with kids. We had so much fun. Emmett cried and cried, saying "brrrr" until I threw him on a sled with me and flew down the hill. He cried the first time, and then loved it after that. Sophia and Finn were both so brave. Noah build them a jump and they both flew over it on the sleds over and over again. Finn loves to shovel the sidewalk. Noah snowboarded a couple days over the weekend so Finn was the man of the house - shoveling so Sophia doesn't have to even walk on the snow. Ha! Sledding! I went to a fun wine tasting party with other Teller moms on Saturday night. This was the welcome to the party.  Story time! Oh Emmett.

Sophia turns 5!

Our little bunny turned FIVE last week! I can't even believe it, a whole hand. She took lollies to school for her classmates, and then we had a party at La Jolla Rec Center on Sunday. Complete with a bounce house, pizza and a cake big enough to feed at least 100 people. Seriously, the cake was ridiculous. Apparently I ordered a full sheet instead of a quarter or a half. Oooopsies. I think five is gonna be a great year for Soph. She has made lots of new friends and is so happy to go to school everyday. I'm so happy she's in TK, she is loving it. She got a new bike from us, and lots of cool art stuff from friends, and her first Barbie! She also got another Wonder Woman costume from Nay Nay, thank goodness. Cruisin' on her new ride. Now we just have to get rid of those training wheels.  The actual night of her birthday she requested pasta so we went to Filipi's in PB. Hadn't been there in at least a decade and it did not disappoint. The waitstaff sang her ...

Our trip to Croatia

Helloooo! Well, we've had a few things going on so the blog has been neglected. But I want to post pictures from our last two trips this summer - Croatia and Italy. The first week of August, we flew to Split, Croatia and stayed there for a night at an Airbnb. Split is a big city with a great downtown area full of outdoor cafes, a huge jewelry market and is a main port to a whole bunch of Croatian islands. We spent 5 amazing days in Croatia - we absolutely loved this place. Gorgeous scenery, friendly people, very touristy with people from all over the world and inexpensive.  One of the many beaches in Split...     Noah bought a sweet raft for the kids. He about passed out blowing it up. Afternoon at the beach. Me and Finnster looking for a lunch spot. Sophia became a little fish this summer. She loved all the hotel pools and lakes/oceans/seas we came across. She met a friend this day, Thea, who we played with at the beach all day and then coinciden...
