Michigan 2018

Michigan was our only summer vacation this year and it was awesome! We went for a week, over the weekend of my cousin Allison's wedding. The cousins were all in town, we were just missing the 36-week prego Aunt Amy/Uncle Aaron combo.
We took this float out on Crystal Lake. Noah spun the kids til they were about to puke.

We celebrated the big 1-0 for Finnster with family a couple weeks early. He got a couple awesome Lego Architecture sets (which he's already built) and some stars and a constellation book.

Finn had a couple of firsts during vacay - paddle boarding on his own and catching his first fish!

Emmett's first - mowing the lawn!

We got perfect weather the whole week. Lake Michigan and Crystal were both really warm so we swam and Soph and Finn both did the slide at Crystal.

Sad to be going home :(

We had a 2 hour delay in Houston on our way out. Good thing Dylan's Candy Bar was right across from our gate.

These two inventing some game I'm sure. Crystal Lake. Look how clear that is!

Waiting their turn for showers at Didi's guest house :)

Soph, Jane and I got mani/pedis before the wedding.

We went to Sleeping Bear for some sand dune hiking. It was HOT but we hiked quite a ways up. Best part as always was the fast run down.

I carried Emmett part way on my back. I thought I was going to die.

Me and my boo.

Our almost 1st-grader!

We had the best time with the Kearns fam! Molly and Sloaney warmed up to us within a day or so. We all tried to get in as many snuggles as possible. They are the CUTEST.

Uncle No No getting some love from Molly Kate. Blueberries and really any other snack are the way to these girls hearts!

Sprinkler time in the backyard and Emmett's gotta go!

We stayed at the guest house next door to my parent's place but there was lots of back and forth of kiddos. We captured Molly one morning.

Helping Aunt Jane deliver wedding goodie bags to the hotels.

We got in lots of beach time...

Wedding day! Emmett was ring bearer and Sophia flower girl. Finnster passed out programs to all of the guests. We weren't sure about Emmett's commitment until my aunt busted out the sweet Ring Security briefcase. Then he was ALL IN.

My gorgeous cousin Allison - ready to do this!

Didi, Bapa and the kiddos. Thank you mom and dad for putting up with so much chaos all week!! XOXO

The wedding was at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club. The girls found some real nice gravel to play in for awhile.
They had a Motown band so once Soph got warmed up she just couldn't stop. The boys went home with Molly and Sloane and stayed with a babysitter but Soph hung with us all night. Party girl!

What we've been up to

It's been cold and snowy! We got almost a foot of snow on Monday afternoon and the kids had a snow day on Tuesday. They got hours of TV in the morning and then Noah came home and we all went sledding. The hill by our house was absolutely packed with kids. We had so much fun. Emmett cried and cried, saying "brrrr" until I threw him on a sled with me and flew down the hill. He cried the first time, and then loved it after that. Sophia and Finn were both so brave. Noah build them a jump and they both flew over it on the sleds over and over again. Finn loves to shovel the sidewalk. Noah snowboarded a couple days over the weekend so Finn was the man of the house - shoveling so Sophia doesn't have to even walk on the snow. Ha! Sledding! I went to a fun wine tasting party with other Teller moms on Saturday night. This was the welcome to the party.  Story time! Oh Emmett.

Sophia turns 5!

Our little bunny turned FIVE last week! I can't even believe it, a whole hand. She took lollies to school for her classmates, and then we had a party at La Jolla Rec Center on Sunday. Complete with a bounce house, pizza and a cake big enough to feed at least 100 people. Seriously, the cake was ridiculous. Apparently I ordered a full sheet instead of a quarter or a half. Oooopsies. I think five is gonna be a great year for Soph. She has made lots of new friends and is so happy to go to school everyday. I'm so happy she's in TK, she is loving it. She got a new bike from us, and lots of cool art stuff from friends, and her first Barbie! She also got another Wonder Woman costume from Nay Nay, thank goodness. Cruisin' on her new ride. Now we just have to get rid of those training wheels.  The actual night of her birthday she requested pasta so we went to Filipi's in PB. Hadn't been there in at least a decade and it did not disappoint. The waitstaff sang her ...

Our trip to Croatia

Helloooo! Well, we've had a few things going on so the blog has been neglected. But I want to post pictures from our last two trips this summer - Croatia and Italy. The first week of August, we flew to Split, Croatia and stayed there for a night at an Airbnb. Split is a big city with a great downtown area full of outdoor cafes, a huge jewelry market and is a main port to a whole bunch of Croatian islands. We spent 5 amazing days in Croatia - we absolutely loved this place. Gorgeous scenery, friendly people, very touristy with people from all over the world and inexpensive.  One of the many beaches in Split...     Noah bought a sweet raft for the kids. He about passed out blowing it up. Afternoon at the beach. Me and Finnster looking for a lunch spot. Sophia became a little fish this summer. She loved all the hotel pools and lakes/oceans/seas we came across. She met a friend this day, Thea, who we played with at the beach all day and then coinciden...
